We look for tranquil beauty to enhance our lives.
As an artist, my goal is to translate the beauty we see around us-in a
New England landscape, a New York City street, a bouquet of flowers
in a vase, or in the face of one we love-into a work of art wrought in
oil paint on canvas. By making use of the nineteenth century canon of
classical and impressionist techniques in landscape, still-lifes and portraits,
I endeavor to create each painting as a testament to a captured moment of
beauty in our own place and time.
The oil paintings, linked under "Works" above, are examples of my current
portfolio and, hopefully, give some indication of my range of interest as an
artist. A number of these paintings are available for exhibition and/or purchase.
Please contact me directly for futher information on any given painting or if
you wish to see more of my work.
As my schedule permits, I also undertake portrait. landscape and still life
commissions. Please feel free to contact me (see the above link) to schedule
an appointment to discuss your request.
