I have been doing caricatures and and quicksketch portraits at parties and events. Its been a great experience for me. Several years ago I had the oportunity to study drawing caricatures with Sam Norkin, one of the top theatrical caricaturists in New York City. Coupling this with all the years of drawing and painting portraits I feel that I can bring a unique caricature to people that is not offensive, a gentle interpretation so to speak. People love caricatures, its a great form of entertainment at parties. People line up to get their portrait done and then have a take home reminder of the event or promotion.
